Our grooming services will keep your furry friend looking and feeling their best, with personalized care and attention. Whether your pet is here for the day or for an extended period of time, they will have a suite/condo to allow private space for them to eat, sleep, stretch, and move about and for one-on-one time with staff members. Some of our suites have direct access to a private enclosed outdoor space. We will ensure that your pet receives personalized attention and care during their stay. We never charge more for additional services/products, such as treats, play time, enrichment activities, one-on-one time with staff, etc... You will not need to worry about your pet playing in large groups, all pets will be given outdoor play time, either individually or in small groups. Groups will be based on size, energy level, temperament, social skills, and/or requests of the owner.

Private Yard Rental

Rent an enclosed pet friendly outdoor space for you and your pet to play off leash, without the safety concerns of comingling with other pets and pet owners. Shaded areas for you and your furry friend. Optional amenities include obstacle course items, wading pool, bubble machine, balls, frisbees, and ball launcher. Grill and picnic tables available for half day rentals. The space can be rented by the hour, half day, or whole day. Pet birthday parties are welcomed and encouraged. Please call/text for availability and to make reservations.

We use the following to determine size:

Small= up to 20 lbs. Medium= 21-50 lbs. Large= 51-80 lbs. XLarge= over 80 lbs. (please call for pricing on grooming services for XLarge dogs)

About the owner

Hi, I’m Jennifer Piper, the heart and hands behind Paws and Claws Pet Services. What started as a simple passion for caring for animals has grown into a mission to offer pets a place to feel at home while away from their family.

I have over 30 years' experience in providing quality care for the children in our community in my licensed in-home childcare, and while I enjoy caring for children, my passion is in caring for animals.

With many years of experience in pet fostering and pet rescue, I’ve learned that success isn’t just about what you create — it’s about the relationships I will build along the way, with the pets, pet parents, and members of our community. Every service I offer is infused with dedication, love, compassion, and wanting what is best for the pets I care for. I have a genuine desire to make a positive impact in caring for pets.

My 2 main goals are simple: To provide an environment where the pets have a place to run and play in small groups, and provide each pet a private, comfortable place to relax, eat their meals and snacks, and have some uninterrupted one-on-one time with our staff. My second goal is to ensure every pet and pet parent feels like this is their pet's home away from home.
